Haikus for Steve’s Trip – By JP

During my time in Pittsburgh, I was able to spend time with a man who just might be the next big thing when it comes to the haiku.  Yes, the haiku, a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five.  Little did I know that Jordan has recently become a student of the haiku and can be found on weekend evenings on South Street Pittsburgh reciting them to new friends while waiting for a Primanti Bros. sandwich.  I guess I should have realized that this was the case when I walked in on him reading the thesaurus.  Nonetheless, Jordan developed these masterpieces to commemorate my visit. Enjoy.
